Join us for a class that combines mindfulness with healthy movement - this is a class meant for all ability levels and specifically geared toward people with neurologic conditions. You are welcome to come with your wheelchair, cane or walker, and family and friends are invited to join in!
We are headed out for a morning at the High Desert Museum! Join us for a group activity at the High Desert, and enjoy the support of our amazing group participants and volunteers.

FREE! Join us for a casual walk or hike at the new Bend accessible park! Riley Ranch Nature Reserve has wider trails and was made to be more accessible to people with walkers, wheelchairs and strollers. No dogs allowed at this location, sorry!

Who: Anyone interested in hearing more about the Destination Rehab 2018 Cohort - this group will meet monthly for education sessions, fun group outings and other activities decided by you! This group is grant-funded - cohortmembers can participate in all activities for FREE!
Destination Rehab is focused on serving adults (16+) with physical disabilities and neurologic conditions (stroke, SCI, brain injury, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, dystonia, and more).

Join us for a causal kayak in the crystal clear Deschutes River! We will start with warm-up exercises to improve flexibility and posture. We will teach basic kayak skills and assist with getting in/out of the kayak. All gear included. Bring snacks and water, wear layers and sunscreen. (This is not an adaptive event. If you need specialized equipment, please contact us directly)
Meet at Drake Park at the sand bar near the Tumalo Ave bridge. Family and friends welcome to join! They will need their own ticket if wanting to kayak.
Art and Wellness class - paint your own palette board to use in your home or as a gift. This class will incorporate exercise to promote postural strength, flexibility and stability. You will also be making a unique piece of art that you can take home at the end of the class. All supplies included, chairs available to sit during the class.
$35/person. Bring ideas of a theme or quote you would like to incorporate into your board.

Join us for a 2 mile hike up Pilot Butte - this is a challenging hike with beautiful views in the middle of Bend! We will be meeting in the lower parking lot - do not drive up to the top! The parking lot is off Highway 20 - turn north on NE Arnette Way, then left on NE Linnea Dr.
There will be several hiking poles available to try during the hike. We will begin with a warm up routine to promote flexibility and strengthening. Please wear layers and bring plenty of water.
