Summer Adventure Group 2027

What is Adventure Group? Join our next group of learners and adventurers! Be part of a dynamic and supportive community dedicated to achieving independence and experiencing The Great Outdoors. This is an opportunity to expand your life vision, learn from neurologic experts, connect with peers, improve your physical mobility skills, engage in your community, and experience the outdoors in a new and meaningful way.

Who: You! Adults with neurologic diagnoses who love the outdoors and are looking for safe ways to connect and be active outside.

When: May - October on Wednesdays from 9am-12pm. Most activities are 2-4 hours long.

Ability level: We recommend having the energy for 2-4 hour group excursions; some in the group have walkers or hiking poles, and we have varying levels of mobility. Contact us for a Physical Therapist screening evaluation to see if this is a good fit for you! (scheduling@destinationrehab.org)

Cost: TBD for 2027

Activities: Activities vary each year. Examples from past groups include: hiking, kayaking, stand up paddling, museum tours, recumbent cycling, Mahjong games, painting, bat cave hike, mushroom hunting, and historical scavenger hunts.

Need a scholarship?

We are pleased to be able to offer scholarship funding due to our generous donors and we never want cost to be a barrier. We are happy to offer scholarships to those who need some assistance. We request that you pay what you are able to ensure we can provide funding to everyone.

**Our team will review all of the scholarship requests and inform you if we are able to approve a scholarship. You are not officially registered for the class until this decision has been made. Thank you!**

Please note that 100% scholarships are extremely rare because we want to provide funding to everyone who needs it. However, if you need a 100% scholarship, please reach out to audrey@destinationrehab.org.
