Trailblazers Adventure Group 2026

What is Trailblazers Adventure Group? This inclusive program invites individuals with neurologic conditions and mobility limitations to experience recreational adventures—such as kayaking and recumbent biking—under the guidance of licensed physical therapists. The goal is to foster community, build confidence, and make the outdoors more accessible for everyone.

Who: People with neurologic conditions like MS, Stroke, Parkinson’s or Spinal Cord Injury who are mostly wheelchair bound, but can transfer with assistance

When: We meet once a week on Thursdays from 9am-12pm in the month of September. Most activities are 2-4 hours long.

Ability level: Contact us for a Physical Therapist screening evaluation to see if this is a good fit for you! (scheduling@destinationrehab.org)

Cost: TBD

Activities: Activities vary each year. Examples from past groups include: adaptive hiking w/ Advenchair, kayaking, and recumbent biking.
