Destination Rehab is a nonprofit that empowers individuals with neurologic conditions to break down stigmas and access the outdoors. We have two components to what we do: physical therapy and several group programs. Our program side is typically where we need the most volunteers.

Volunteers Opportunites
PEAK Fitness class in Bend
program Leads
Do you hold a Fitness Certification and want to design and lead a group exercise class in Bend or Redmond? Reach out to us!
Must have experience in the class being led. Experience working with the neuro population is preferred, but not required.
program Assistants
Are you Belay Certified at the Bend Rock Gym? Do you enjoy helping set up/facilitate exercise classes? We always need volunteers for PEAK Fitness Program, Rock Climbing, Walking Soccer, Pickleball, and PWR! Moves classes.
Assistants will help set up and take down class equipment. Assist in class as needed. Experience working with the neuro population is preferred, but not required.

Dream Big Volunteer
Assist with planning and executing our biggest fundraiser of the year! We have a Dream Big Planning Committee as well as day of volunteer opportunities!
This years Dream Big event will be on May 8th 2026.
Adventure Group Volunteer
Are you an active individual with a love for the outdoors? Adventure Group volunteers attend group outings once a week from 9am - 12pm from May — Oct (shorter options available) around Central Oregon to help with kayaking, biking, hiking, mushroom hunting, and all the adventures we tackle!
Must be there for the majority of outings. Experience working with the neuro population is preferred, but not required.

Other Volunteer Opportunites
We always love help with fundraising and admin logistics if behind the scenes volunteering is your specialty!
Possible tasks include:
assist with setup and cleanup, assist in raffles: hand out prizes, pass out tickets, etc.
Fundraising, marketing, graphic design, networking, social media, donor relations
Drop off/pick up items in the Bend/Redmond area.
Equipment Maintenance and/or Storage
Clean equipment or store equipment on property, help Operations Manager repair and build.
